Looking for a fun and active way to keep kids moving during the school holidays? Inga Haas School of Dance offers Ballroom and Latin dance classes this January that are perfect for children and teens. These classes provide a lively environment where beginners can learn new dance skills, stay active, and make new friends.

Children and adults dance in a studio with mirrored walls and colorful lights. A couple performs energetically in a blue and black costume.
Young dancers enjoy school holiday dance classes, learning and performing various styles together.

Classes for Different Age Groups

The dance classes are divided into two age groups

  • Ages 6 to 12

Classes take place every Tuesday in January 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

  • Ages 13 to 18

Classes are held every Thursday in January 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

Both groups welcome beginners, so no prior dance experience is needed. The classes are designed to be beginner-friendly and encourage participation through enjoyable activities.

Why Choose School Holidays Dance Classes?

Dance is a great way for kids and teens to stay active during the holidays. Here are some benefits of joining the holiday classes:

  • Physical activity that improves fitness, balance, and coordination

  • Social interaction with peers who share an interest in dance

  • Skill development in Ballroom and Latin dance styles

  • Confidence building through learning and performing new moves

  • Fun environment that keeps kids engaged and motivated

Bonus!

  • Best "dance school aircon" I know of!

  • Plenty of parking spaces (industrial area)!

  • Just off South Street and easy or quick access to all High Roads!

  • Mums and dads are allowed to watch if they like to (don't have to "disappear" for an hour) and there is plenty of seating area with tables. So you can bring your own refreshments and maybe have a chat with other mums or dads!

  • If you are a very busy parent and short on time, there is a big Coles nearby where you can do your weekly food shopping whilst the class is on.
